Shadow Yoga workshop

What is Shadow Yoga?
It’s a school of hatha yoga that gives you a deeper map of your inner experience. It’s a progressive series of three Prelude Forms that guide you towards refining the art of yoga, including coordination of the limbs and the breath. It’s challenging, in a safe way, using standing posese and stances to develop strength, flexibility and balance. It’s classic yoga that aims to bring you to a calm, meditative state as your practice evolves.

What will we cover?

We’ll work from the foundations, developing a rhythm from the warm-up and practising standing poses, a graceful form of Sun Salutations, and floor work. The guided relaxation will help you connect to the subtle energy centres. And the viyapaka ore warm-down is a beautiful conclusion to he practice.

Who can join?

Open to all. Some basic yoga experience will be helpful. No Shadow yoga experience is needed.

Where do I sign up?

Hi Pam ,

If you are ever interested in setting up a class let me know.

I will have Tuesday morning available from November.
And maybe Fridays 6.30pm.

I know this are quieter times so I could offer you this time without summer commiment.

Just a thought.

Thanks so much Aggie. I have never been to Donegal (!) despite living in Ireland for 25 years now. Very interesting to hear how expensive Carlow is, i have a sense of that but no real experience in the market.

I'm teaching only 2 regular in person and one zoom class, but things keep coming my way. This weekend is a festival, early Nov is a retreat, and 2 workshops planned, on at CMS and one in WIcklow. It's plenty because we're also still developing nature courses and system change books and talks.

As I look again at the calendar I think November 7 would be better, if there's availability. I will book from 3 - 5pm if that works. Let me know how to pay etc. I still have a set of 2 keys (one brown for downstairs I think, and one silver) that you gave me some time ago! If nothing's changed I'll be able to get in.

Big hugs,
Pam

Hi Pam ,

Nice to hear from you. How are you doing?

I have a free time on the 26th from 2pm onwards. Feel free to book it.

Motherhood :) Even though I am very busy and constantly tired... I love it, its an amazing journey! Our life is different now, its all about Naoise, he is 10 month old now...imagine:)
We have moved to Ireland last June, we could not afford a property in Carlow, our mortgage application was refused twice. We could only afford to buying Ballybofey co Donegal , in Jonny's hometown. It was the best decision we have ever made. Ballybofey is a small peaceful town on the edge of a beautiful forest - Drumboe Woods.
I already teach 3 yoga classes here..its hard with a small baby to organize classes but slowly slowly I will get there.

Sorry I could now meet you when in Carlow. I only kept the meetings to the minimum, still it was too much for Naoise. It took us a few days to recover from this trip, he is way too small and Carlow is a very noisy town.
How are things on your side? do you teach any classes in Tullow?

warm wishes
Aggie

Dear Aggie,

Rachel mentioned that you were in Carlow, I hope you had a wonderful visit. Are you living in Ireland again or still between Poland and here?

And most importantly, how is motherhood going?

In other news, I am looking for a slot for a workshop on 26 October, is there any availability at the studio for 2 hours?

Thank you.

Big hugs,

Pam
